Mother's Day

My First Mothers Day... it started off with our Mackenzie alarm clock around 5:45 and we laid in bed and watched Baby Einstein.  Mackenzie, Abbey and Max all got me a day at the Spa--they knew exactly what I needed!!  We headed off to Common Grounds for brunch, and our usual trip to target!!  It was a wonderful day!

Grandma Page

Grandma Page turned 93 and we all got together at Mimi's house for dinner.  Mackenzie even got her first taste of icing off of the birthday cake!

Wilson Park

Here are a few pictures from our trip to Wilson Park.  It was a beautiful day and we decided that we just couldn't stay inside and play, we needed to get some fresh air.  Well Mackenzie had a blast, there were so many new things that she was a little overwhelmed at first.  She loved crawling in the grass and giggled when she would grab at it and feel it under the palms of her hands.  She also got to pet a guinea pig for the first time which turned out not to be as big of a deal as we thought it would be, but she still seemed to like it.  Mom just had to let her sit in the sand, and Mackenzie thought that was pretty cool, once again Mom was right!  She kept grabbing handfuls of sand letting it slip through her fingers and looking at us like she couldn't believe we would let her do that.  We took some pictures, Mackenzie was a little camera shy, but she seemed to get over it pretty quick.
All in all it was a fabulous day, the weather was beautiful, Mackenzie had a new experience and most important, we had fun as a family.

Mackenzie

   So peaceful and soooo sweet!!

First Christmas

We spent Mackenzie's first Christmas in Nevada (not to mention our anniversary)  She was a shining star as always.  She loves her exersaucer that Grandma had gotten her and I know she loved all the
 attention!!

It was a great way to spend her First Christmas!

All smiles

Doesn't this just make you want to smile???
Looks like someone is close to crawling?? Oh no!!
  Mackenzie loves her Baby Doll!!!

Halloween

We were excited about out first Halloween.  Grandma had brought down the Lion costume a family friend had found for Mackenzie.  We must have worn her out with all the pictures---She slept through all the trick-or-treaters!!

THE BEGINNING

July 25th 2007, Mackenzie Elizabeth Wilson made her triumphant debut at 5 lbs 10 oz.  She was the most beautiful baby that her mother and father had ever seen.  Although she was a month early, she was healthy and happy, as you can see in the picture of her first bath.  After a few short days in Willow Creek, we all went home as a family for the first time.

Her first ride in her car seat.
