Grandma and Grandpa

Needless to say, this last month has been a little rough, but we and Mackenzie have managed to spend some fun times in between trips to the hospital with G, and with Papa!

Mack loved playing the piano with G and helping her plant flowers.

We also spent the night at the lake with Papa, Julie and Uncle Marc. She kept us pretty entertained-- As long as dogs were in sight! She loved it!

We just look forward to having more fun in the future!

Having Fun

With all that has happened with our family, the one positive thing is that we have been able to spend more time together. Besides running back and forth to Joplin and elsewhere, Mackenzie has enjoyed seeing her G and her Papa! She has been able to garden and go to the lake. Even though her Mama was very tense, she had a great time and that is what it is about!

Just wanted to say thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers...they are truly appreciated!

Easter

Can you believe the difference in just one year!!  

We had a good weekend-First stop was at Papa's house.  She loved getting to see everyone, especially Paco, Rosita, Ollie and Daisy!  I have a feeling we will be in big trouble when she gets older because she loves animals...especially dogs!

Next stop was G's house!  Even though Mom and Dad weren't sure about coloring easter eggs--Cousin Kate was persistant and it paid off!

We were so glad to spend the weekend with Uncle Marc and Jody--and of course Lily (We think she had more fun hunting for Easter eggs than Mackenzie!!)

Destin

We had such a wonderful time on our first trip to the beach.  Mike and I weren't sure how she would react to the sand and water, but needless to say--We have a beach baby on our hands!

Almost Spring

After a battle with strep throat, we went out and enjoyed the warm weather at Wilson Park. Mackenzie loved seeing and playing with the "big kids" -mama and daddy included!!

1st Haircut

What an eventful week we have had---It started off with a terrible ice storm, quickly followed by power loss!  Mackenzie was a trooper through it all considering that she has been teething and even had a touch of the flu.  I proceeded to have my colonoscopy on Friday-Everything was good except for the goat urine I had to drink Thursday night in the dark.  Thankfully, "G" came down to help us out. She and Mackenzie had a good time power or no power!  On Saturday "G" treated Mackenzie to her first haircut at Supercuts!

Mackenzie charmed all the people waiting and actually did a pretty good job when it was time for her trim!
